I made a quick trip to Safeway this morning when I saw the new advertisement for this week (9/17-9/23) had a big sale on Kellogg's Cereals 2/$5 and if you buy any 5 items (displayed in part of the ad) you get an additional $5 off the bill.Here's the rundown:
(5) Kellogg's Frosted Flakes $2.50 each= $12.50
(5) Kellogg's Mini Wheat's $2.50 each= $12.50
(2) Honey Bunches of Oats $3.00 each- used in ad coupon 2/$3= $3.00
(1) 5 lb. bag of potatoes Reg price $$4.99 -used in ad coupon - total cost $0.99
Subtotal: $$28.99
- $10.00 (Safeway special this week bought 10 items listed and got (2) x $5.00 off bill.)
- $1.00 Kellogg's coupon
Total Paid: $17.99
Plan to submit for $10.00 Kellogg's Fuel for School Rebate
Total after Rebate: $7.99 for a total of 12 cereals and a bag of potatoes!
