Dollar Days at the National Aquarium of Baltimore

The National Aquarium of Baltimore is hosting their annual Dollar Days event, where admission to the aquarium is only $1. This is an amazing deal considering the regular admission fares are $17.95 for a child and $28.95 for an adult. (Save almost $90 for a family of 4)

December 6 & 7, 2008 from 10 AM- 4 PM

Here is some information from National Aquarium of Baltimore regarding the Dollar Days.

• Tickets are limited.
• Lines will be long, so please dress for the weather!
• Consider leaving your stroller at home or in the trunk of your car.

Because of the escalators and people-movers inside the Aquarium, strollers cannot be used inside. If you do bring a stroller, Aquarium staff will store it for you and provide a backpack or frontpack child-carrier.

I have attended the Dollar Days a couple of times over the last few years and can attest to the long lines and no strollers policy. It is very worth it to be at the aquarium up to 1/2 before opening time (which is at 10:00 AM). The Aquarium will get more crowded and busy as the days goes on. By the way, during the Dollar Days there will be no dolphin shows.
