Walmart's Coupon Policy rediscovered

Some very great useful information for those of us that shop at Walmart and use coupons. I found the following information on Walmart's website in a new section called the Eleven Moms.

The Eleven Moms is a fairly new project that includes eleven mom bloggers that share their money saving tips and budget advice on the Walmart website.

This is a Question & Answer section from a Walmart Shopper:

Does Walmart accept manufacturers coupons?

"I've used manufacturers coupons at my local Walmart without any problems". The Domestic Diva

"Walmart's coupon policy can be found here". From Dates to Diapers

"Yes. I frequently use manufacturer's coupons at Walmart. They do indeed accept them. Using coupons combined with Walmart's low prices helps me save lots of money. You can find many coupons in the Sunday paper, print them online, or in All You magazine". Kingdom First Mom

Walmart accepts the following types coupons:
* Manufacturer coupons (Cents Off)
* Free merchandise (or manufacturer's Buy-One-Get-One-Free) coupons
* Store coupons
* Pharmacy (Advertising and Promotional) coupons
* Internet coupons
* Soft drink container caps

Walmart Coupon Guidelines & Limits:

* Walmart only accepts coupons for merchandise we sell and only when presented at the time of purchase.
* Coupons should have an expiration date and be presented within the valid dates. Walmart will not accept expired coupons.
* Internet coupons should be legible and say "Manufacturer Coupon." There should be a valid remit address for the manufacturer and a scannable bar code.
* Only one coupon per item is permitted.
* Use of 40 or more coupons per transaction will require approval by Customer Service Manager.

Its important to know the facts about Walmart's coupon policy and be confident when you check out. I carry the Walmart Coupon Policy with me at all times. I have never had to use it, but it can be a lifesaver if the cashier/manager will not want to accept your coupons.
